NEXT YEAR IS HERE!!
Mission Statement: To empower youth with the life skills, education, inspiration and hope they need to survive and grow amidst the spectrum of negative influences they face each day.
What's New: Phase I Leadership Camp for Summer 2012 - July 15-19, 2012. Join national youth speaker Eddie Slowikowski for an incredible ride of self-discovery, personal empowerment and fun at the most innovative and powerful leadership camp around. Camp will be held at the University of Wisconsin Parkside (900 Wood Rd - Kenosha, WI 53141).
What happens during camp? Teamwork activities through games, outdoor challenge courses, professional workshop sessions, group discussions, on stage role play performances and lots of fun! By week's end, participants design a plan of action for the upcoming school year as to what they want to accomplish and how they want to go about doing so.
There's more! LifeRide is unique in its efforts to track participants after camp by providing a support network. Each camper is provided with the following means of support:
List of phone numbers, addresses and e-mail for all campers and staff.
Updates via the internet. We keep tabs on each other and track goals via e-mail .
Reunion events during the year including both social and community service events.

About LifeRide: LifeRide was founded in 1997 by Professional Speaker/Trainer Eddie Slowikowski. Eddie's work takes him around the country spreading the LifeRide message of empowerment in conjunction with youth and educators by using an interactive, student-focused approach. This led to the creation of LifeRide’s Summer Youth Leadership Training Camps and the LifeRide Process, a life skills based prevention curriculum for middle & high school youth. In only a few years, over 350 youth have participated in the summer youth leadership camps.

The LifeRide Curriculum is a comprehensive training program that empowers students through a series of lectures, workshops, consultation and long form retreat. It is an entirely new approach to implementing leadership skills, prevention skills, teambuilding skills and social skills. With a combination of action planning, peer to peer interaction, extensive role plays and teambuilding exercises, pariticipants take what they've learned back to their respective schools to employ a "train-the-trainer" approach. This takes everyday training back to the source and facilitates the professional growth of all participants.
